The Earring Curator has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
• Condition: Good antique condition with a few minor surface dents, see photos.

• Hallmarks/stamps: Each earring is stamped 9CT on the back and also has the kitemark used by the British Design Registry which enables us to date the earrings quite precisely. The stamp shows this design was registered on 1 January 1875 and as the mark was discontinued less than a decade later we know they must have been made between 1875 and 1884.
• Era: Victorian.
• Size: 2.5cm from the top of the gold sphere to the bottom of each earring. One ear wire hangs slightly longer.
• Weight: 1.5g.
