Very well proportioned late 19th century English breakfront four door glazed bookcase in book matched walnut, circa 1880.
Wonderful colour and for a large bookcase, the depth is quite shallow so helps give it a lighter feel.
The bookcase has fully adjustable shelves, so you can place those to suit your books or to display etc. The walnut veneers are book matched to the top, so that is as you see the top in the centre, the veneers match and run to the ends.
Original glass to the doors so you have the lovely slightly rippled effect.
Good condition and a great example.
Measuring:
43 1/2 inches or 110.5 cm high
72 inches or 183 cm wide
13 inches or 33 cm deep to the centre section
11 inches or 28 cm internal depth to the centre section
