Description

Antique Globe Wernicke bookcase made up of its original glazed bookcase sections with metal side strappings which stands on a shaped plinth with a drawer inside. Each of the 4 glazed sections have lift up slide away doors having original mechanism and original brass knob handles. These bookcases are easy to transport as all the sections lift off of each other. In excellent condition with only historical scuffs/ marks in line with age and use. There is a beautiful rich colour to the oak and the bookcase bears the original makers label. A very attractive bookcase and a perfect addition to home / office.
