Description

A lovely and scarcely found book carrier or trough, with the original cast brass carrying handles each side.

It is finished in fabulous flamed Mahogany, highly decorative with a bright glossy patina, showcasing the wood's beauty. The edges are trimmed in Kingwood.

There is a lockable drawer underneath complete with working key which is housed in an Ivory escutcheon to the front.

A stunning accessory for the library or office in excellent condition. Measures 14" x 8 1/4" deep x 9 1/4" tall at rear.
