Fine pair of late 19th century Japanese bronze vases,c1890. These are good quality examples, well cast and heavy at 4kg the pair. They have lovely bamboo decoration to the body, the handles are in the form of stylised bamboo stalks and they stand on a raised scalloped base. The bronze has taken on great colour and overall condition is good with only very minor surface wear in line with age and use.
