Victorian Scottish pebble jewellery refers to ornaments crafted in Scotland during the 19th century, featuring native hardstones such as agate, jasper, and bloodstone set in silver.

These pieces typically utilise sterling silver alongside locally sourced Scottish hardstones, often hand-cut and polished to showcase natural banding and colours.

Authentic pieces often feature traditional Scottish motifs, heavy silver mounts with hand-engraved border work, and specific C-clasps or pin mechanisms consistent with 19th-century manufacturing.

An antique brooch can be worn pinned to lapels, scarves, or hats, blending historical character with contemporary fashion.

Store pieces in a dry environment away from direct sunlight, and clean silver gently with a soft polishing cloth while avoiding harsh chemical dips that can damage natural stones.
