Here is a good quality English Tudor style oak bookcase, with an open design, comprising two shelves and a two-door cupboard base, circa 1940, featuring decorative 17th style Tudor carvings, in excellent original condition. Incorporating a single plank oak top, the Tudor style oak bookcase is decorated with a null-carved frieze, above two open shelves (the shelf heights are fixed but the central shelf can be removed if required).
The doors retain the original decorative hinges and knobs, with door closure latches. The Tudor style oak bookcase stands on its original block moulded feet.

Here is a good quality English Tudor style oak bookcase, with an open design, comprising two shelves and a two-door cupboard base, circa 1940, featuring decorative 17th style Tudor carvings, in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant, considering the age of the item. This Tudor style oak bookshelf boasts a lovely period oak colour. The oak bookcase has been cleaned and wax polished, by hand, to a professional standard in our workshop. Therefore, the colour and patination are of an excellent standard, along with age and years of care and cleaning it has received. All parts are intact, with no missing sections are carvings. The cupboard section below retains its original hinges, door knobs and latches. The Tudor style oak bookcase stands on its original block feet and retains its original backboards. The item is solid in joint and ready to use.
