The Roberts family were involved with The Bromsgrove Guild. This bookcase featured in ‘The Story of an English Hostelry’ by S. B. Russell, a booklet which ran to several editions, and was aimed at mainly promoting The Lygon Arms in Broadway. The bookcase purchased in 2017 to furnish Kingcombe, Chipping Campden, the former home of Gordon Russell.
