A Pair of French Carved Gothic Oak Bookcases

The upper section of the Bookcases have a glazed door enclosing 2 adjustable book shelves, these have an attractive carved front edge.

The Tops have a large carved cornice and there is carving on the front with lion’s masks at the top and fruits of the forest down each side

The carvings on the lower section of the bookcases repeat the fruits of the forest theme, they both have a drawer and on the door they have a geometric pattern with a lions mask at the centre

The Bookcases are in sound condition with only age related wear

The bookcases separate into 2 for transportation, they come with one key which operates 3 of the locks

The bookcases are both 87” high, 38” wide and 22” deep, the Base section is 38” high
