Tall Art Deco Bookcase C.1930

1920 - 1940
Description

Very smart Art Deco mahogany bookcase c.1930. Standing almost seven feet tall with two long glazed doors fitted inside with five adjustable shelves (internal depth 11½"). Moulded frame with attractive Art Nouveau influence carved detail to the top corners. Note the modernist design to the brass escutcheon plates and key. Beautifully figured plum pudding mahogany veneers laid in a quartered symmetrical pattern to the side panels. Shaped and moulded apron and feet. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
