Large Antique Victorian Mahogany Open Bookcase

Description

A smart and very well made large antique Victorian mahogany open bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

It is of superb quality and is a useful size. The two open sections each have three adjustable shelves, there are a further two drawers in the lower section.

The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and all round patina, we have just had this re-polished so it is in very good all round condition for its age. There are just various small old marks and indentations here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age.

Depth – 14 inches , 36 cm
