Antique tribal bags with plain weave backs, by the Shahsavan Tribe.

Circa 1880.

A very good small pair or tribal bags with original plain weave backs. The face of the bag has an interesting tribal design in red on a dark indigo blue ground. The bags are woven with very soft wool.

The bag is in fair condition with even wear and good pile to the faces, the plain weave backs show signs of tribal use with wear and staining.
