A Regency period porcelain dessert plate by Flight, Barr & Barr Worcester dates to approximately 1825. The circular object displays a pale salmon-pink peach ground, white botanical leaf sprays, elaborate scrolling gilt foliage, and an impressed FBB mark below a crown. A gadrooned rim with a scalloped edge finishes the piece, complemented by hand-painted heraldic decoration in the centre depicting a black lion rampant. The surface shows excellent condition with bright enamel and gold leaf accents. This table service piece serves as a decorative display item on a sideboard top in a dining room or living space. The design coordinates with traditional interior settings requiring formal porcelain accents.

Flight, Barr & Barr refers to the prominent period of the Worcester porcelain factory operating between 1813 and 1840. The period is noted for high-quality bone china, elaborate hand-gilding, rich ground colours, and heraldic services produced for wealthy patrons.

Regency ceramics were typically made from bone china or soft-paste porcelain, decorated using hand-applied mineral enamels and burnished mercury gilding. Rim borders were frequently press-moulded with gadrooned or scalloped relief patterns.

Authentic pieces often feature impressed factory marks such as FBB beneath a crown, alongside printed makers marks detailing the London workshop or Worcester address. The quality of the gilding, weight of the paste, and precise heraldic painting also distinguish genuine period items.

Armorial plates can be mounted on acrylic or brass wall hangers to create a gallery wall, displayed individually on plate stands inside glazed cabinets, or placed on a sideboard top alongside contemporary decorative objects.

Clean antique porcelain by gently wiping with a soft, lint-free cloth and lukewarm water with mild soap. Avoid abrasive sponges, chemical cleaners, dishwashers, or microwaves, as these can strip off delicate hand gilding and enamel surface layers.
