The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this 1930s Record Pocket Watch to the 1930s.
This is an independent date report produced by Sellingantiques using its own proprietary system. The process uses the photographs shown on this page. The system is never told the date the dealer has declared. This report shows that the two dates corroborate.
The watch has a Swiss 7-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name Record, and it is all protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case is in beautiful condition with nice crisp engine turned detail to the back. A previous owner’s initials are set within the cartouche.

The glass lens is in good condition, light marking if viewed closely.
The signed dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track. There is a small patch of damage to the edge of the dial, next to the number 5, and a couple of almost invisible short hairlines by number 11.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
