The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this Gold Stem Wind Pocket Watch to the 1920s.
The movement is signed with the Minerva logo although the piece was made as a private piece for a Newcastle jeweller, sold under the brand name Westgate Lever.

The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case is in lovely condition.

The glass lens has some marking.
The white enamel dial is signed with the original retailer’s name, Street & Co, Newcastle Upon Tyne and the brand name Westgate Lever. The dial is in nice condition with original blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
