Description

Fine large 19th century Tibetan bronze statue of Buddha,c1870. This is a beautiful , well cast example depicting Buddha in a classic seated and crossed leg pose. There is lovely fine detail to the features, hands, robes etc . The statue has real serenity and this combined with its size, almost a foot tall and weighing 4kg, gives it real presence and decorative appeal. It is in lovely antique condition and the bronze has taken on great colour/patina following many years of handling and use.
