Wool rugs, bags and flatweaves made by nomadic and village weavers across Persia, the Caucasus, Anatolia and Central Asia, woven on portable looms for the weavers' own floors, tents and animals rather than for the workshop export trade.
The oldest to pass through Sellingantiques date to the 1750s: an 18th century Salor Turkoman chuval fragment of 29 by 70cm, and a Kuba blossom carpet.
