Antique South West Persian Khamseh Rug with large medallion design.

Circa 1900.

A tribal rug of the classic Khamseh design with a large central medallion containing floral rosettes. The rug has a classic Khamseh border design. The rug has a rich colour palette that gives a warm overall feel that would work well on wooden floors.

Excellent condition with even wear and medium pile, the rug is suitable for normal domestic use. The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
