English Sterling Silver Queen Anne 1709 Coin Set Cup Porringer 1894 Antique 124g

Description

A superb English solid sterling silver two handled cup or porringer. It is hallmarked for London 1894 with a makers mark being that of Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co (William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman). It has been superbly designed having a Queen Anne silver coin inset to the base and a cartouche is free from any engravings. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7cm) tall to the top of the handles by 5.75 inches (14.5cm) across including the handles by 3.5 inches (9cm) excluding them by 3 inches (7.6cm) across the base and weighs 124 grams. A quality well made piece.
