Quality English Sterling Silver Art Deco Whisky Cup Quaich Bowl 1937 Stylish 94g

Description

A very stylish English solid sterling silver quaich. It is hallmarked for London 1937 with the makers marks being CE. It has been stylishly in the Art Deco period and is in superb condition, having no dings splits or repairs. A quaich is an ancient traditional two handled bowl like cup filled with alcohol and passed around guests at gatherings and celebrations. It measures approx. 5.25 inches (13.2cm) across including the handles and 4 inches (10cm) excluding them by 1 inch (2.6cm) tall and weighs 94 grams. A very nice example.
