A Desirable Victorian Silver Campaign Duo

A desirable example of a silver Campaign knife and fork, dating from the end of the Victorian era. This lovely piece has twin mother-of-pearl handles and to the front of the knife, there is a shaped vacant cartouche. The body unclips at the centre and a folding knife and folding fork are revealed. To take apart, the fork must be opened to a 90 degree angle and the pieces slid in opposite directions. These sought after items are very collectable and still have a practical use today.
