Boxed Silver Egg Cup and Spoon, Birmingham 1965 & 1966 Angora Silver Plate Co Ltd

A very attractive, fine quality cased egg cup & spoon set, great for Christening or new baby!. The egg cup is a lovely plain polished silver with a gilt wash to the interior. On one side are the hallmarks for Birmingham 1966, along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The spoon is decorated with an embossed floral pattern to the handle, on the back are the hallmarks for Birmingham 1965. Both bear the maker's mark for the silver maker Angora Silver Plate Co Ltd.

 

The set comes in the original black leatherette box with satin and velvet interior.

 

Condition: Both the silver items are in super condition with no tarnishing or marks to the silver whatsoever,. The box shows some light wear commensurate with age and use and mentioned for complete accuracy.

 

Measurements: Box: 10.8 cm x 14 cm x 5.8 cm.
