Technical Description
A superb PAIR of Copper Alloy Socket candle sticks dating to c1580-1620. They have knopped stems on domed and broad dished bases with three feet.
Exceptionally rare to find a matching pair from this era.
You can find excellent examples of socket candle sticks from this era which sold as part of the Lear Collection at Christies in 1998.
