A pretty solid silver toast rack comprising 4 silver compartments, in the shape of hearts with a neat heart shaped handle on the top. It sits on four sturdy ball feet.

The toast rack bears the clear hallmarks for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1909 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver, along with maker's marks for silver makers Harrison Brothers and Howson

It is a nice neat size with clean lines: a versatile style that works well for antique or modern interiors, or would make a lovely valentine or wedding gift.
