Large 220g Sterling Silver Lidded Holy Communion Chalice Goblet 1914 Religious

Description

A stunning rare English antique solid sterling silver holy communion lidded chalice or goblet. It is hallmarked for London 1914 with the makers mark being that of Blunt & Wray (Frederick Dendy Wray). It has been superbly designed with the lid having a cross handle. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, the odd faint mark. It measures approx. 8 inches (20.3cm) tall by over 3 inches (8cm) across the rim by 3.5 inches (9cm) across the base and weighs 220 grams. A very good quality well made piece.
