Sterling Silver Purple Enamel Glass Dressing Table Box Pot 1931 Art Deco

Description

A beautiful rare Art Deco solid sterling silver glass and enamel dressing table box or pot. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1933 with the makers mark being that of Barker Brothers Silver Ltd. It has been beautifully made having an sterling silver and light purple enamelled lid with a cut glass bowl. Possibly designed in the form of a Scottish thistle. It is in very good condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The enamel is complete and free from chips repairs and cracks, as is the glass. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7cm) across by 2.25 inches (5.3cm) tall and weighs 172 grams complete. A beautifully designed piece.
