An impressive Chinese sterling silver cocktail shaker which has a tall plain body, a removable lid together with a strainer and a pull off top which acts as the measure. This cocktail shaker was most probably made by Teh Ling, a retail shop based in Beijing, specialising in silver items suitable for overseas servicemen stationed in Beijing and Tianjin. It would have been made circa late 1920s - mid 1930s. It remains in excellent condition.
