Description

A good pair of George III silver table spoons by much sought after and highly collected female silversmith, Hester Bateman. Hallmarked London 1785. A true pair, in excellent condition throughout, initialled NJ. The hallmarks with the rare incuse duty mark, which was only used between December 1794 to May 1796.

Both spoons in excellent condition, professionally polished. One the hallmarks are rubbed, but clearly decipherable. The other excellent.
