English Solid Sterling Silver Large Thimble Tot Shot Cup Beaker Measure 1968

Description

A novelty English solid sterling silver novelty tot cup or measure. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1968 with the maker’s marks being that of P H Vogel & Co. It has been superbly designed being in the form of an oversized thimble bearing the words JUST A THIMBLEFUL. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes distortions and repairs. The inside is perfectly clean and usable. It measures approx. over 2 inches (5.3cm) tall by almost 2 inches (5cm) across the rim by 1.5 inches (3.8cm) across the base and weighs 52 grams. A beautifully made interesting piece.
