Rare English Cymric Sterling Silver Egg Cup 1901 Arts & Crafts Liberty

Description

A beautiful rare hand made English antique solid sterling silver egg cup or salt. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1901 with makers mark being that of Cymric a designer for Liberty & Co Ltd. It has been superbly designed and is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 1.25 inches (3.5cm) tall by 1.75 inches (4.5cm) across the rim and weighs 22 grams. A beautifully made piece.

Declaration

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
