At this time the workshops of Sivas were producing rugs of strong Persian design influence, and in this case the design is a classic floral medallion design. It is considered that the weavers were most likely to be Armenian. The rug is of very fine weave and has a soft colour palette.The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile.
