Scottish Solid Sterling Silver Celtic Whisky Quaich Cup 1968 Arts & Crafts

Description

A beautiful Scottish solid sterling silver quaich cup. It is hallmarked for Edinburgh 1968 with the makers marks being that of Hamilton & Inches. It has been superbly made in a Celtic arts & crafts design. For those unaware these are filled with alcohol and passed around at celebrations, weddings and other such gatherings. It is in superb condition, having no dings splits or repairs. It measures approx. 4 inches (10cm) across including the handles and 2.75 inches (7cm) excluding them by over 1 inch (2.8cm) tall and weighs 54 grams. A beautifully clean example.
