Quality English Solid Sterling Silver Snuff Box 1919 Antique

1900 - 1920
Description

A top quality English antique solid sterling silver snuff box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1919 with the makers mark being that of Robert Chandler. It has been superbly designed being decorated with scrolls and has a vacant cartouche. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and the lid closes securely but springs back about 1mm. It measures approx. 2 inches (5.2cm) across by 1.25 inches (3.4cm) wide by 0.5 inch (1.3cm) tall and weighs 38 grams. A very well made piece.
