Novelty Edwardian Antique Sterling Silver Pig Pin Cushion 1905 Needlework Sewing

Description

A novelty Edwardian English antique solid sterling pin cushion. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1905 with the makers marks being that of Britton, Gould & Co. It has superbly designed in the form of a pig. It is in superb condition being free from splits holes and repairs, the odd small dimple and the cushion cover looks to have been renewed at some point. It measures approx. 2 inches (5.1cm) long by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) wide by 1.5 inches (3.8cm) tall and weighs 14 grams. A very good quality rare piece.
