Description

A beautiful American solid silver letter opener. It is hallmarked with the makers mark of S Kirk & Son and the 85 (coin) silver standard mark and tests as high grade silver. It dates to c1880. It has been superbly designed having a flower patterned handle. It is in super condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs. It measures approx. 7.75 inches (19.8cm) long by 0.5 inch (1.5cm) wide and weighs a respectable 64 grams. A very high quality piece.
