A very rare American solid sterling silver stamp case. It is hallmarked STERLING along with the makers mark of Henry C Hacknell of New York who operate between 1887-1915. It has been superbly designed being decorating with a sailing scene. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repair. It measures approx. 1.25 inches (3.3cms) excluding the chain by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide and weighs 15 grams. A very unusual rare piece.
