Victorian Solid Silver Horseshoe Vesta Case With Engraved Creast 1887

Technical Description
A stunning antique silver vesta case dating to 1887.
Shapped like a Horseshoe is has a crest on one side which is a lion holding a maltese cross and the initaisl RHD on the resverse. The catch is tight and working perfectly. It has a functional revolving rowel enhanced spur wheel striker to one side.
Fully hallmarked for William Summers, London, 1887. It weights 46 grams.

Excellent, no chips, cracks or restoration. The cap is in full working order. It has a single ding on the side.
