A Lovely Silver & Tortoiseshell Trinket Box

A lovely round silver trinket box of attractive design dating from the reign of George V. The body of this appealing piece stands on three shaped legs and has pad feet. The lightly domed hinged lid is set with beautiful tortoiseshell and has a silver pique work insert. The interior has a plush and corded lining. A fine example from the Birmingham Assay Office - both decorative, usable and a great gift idea. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits. There are a couple of surface blemishes to the sides, commensurate with age and use.
