This is a set of the finest quality Mappin and Webb silver plate cutlery.
They are clearly identified as “princes plate”, this was the most superior plating process carried out by Mappin and Webb.
The process involved three stages of plating, giving a far thicker and resilient plating of silver.
The picks are in superb condition and are in their original vending box.
The box has a creased outer surface, but it has a superb interior , fitted for the picks.
Having a two prong fork at one end and a dished scoop at the other end these picks show very very little sign of wear.
They are approx 19cm long.
They are contained in their original vending box approx 23x17x3cm
