Rare Robb Ballater Scottish Sterling Silver Golf Club Letter Opener 1911

Description

A very rare Scottish solid sterling silver letter opener. It is hallmarked for Edinburgh 1911 with the maker’s marks being that of William Robb of Ballater. It has been superbly made being in the form of a golf club. It is is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, light marks to the club end see final photo. It measures approx. 7.25 inches (18.5cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide and weighs 22 grams. A very well designed rare piece.
