Description

A classical George III solid silver wine bottle stand or coaster, with engraved crest and engraved band decoration. The hallmarks are rubbed, but just decipherable to be London 1798 or 1818.

In good presentable condition, with signs of wear from age and use. The silver has been tidied up and polished by our silversmith and baize replaced. The crest is very worn and silver thin, suggesting this has been erased in the past. The hallmarks are rubbed as illustrated.
