Pretty 'Bow Detail' Silver Frame Birmingham 1917

1900 - 1920
Description

A very pretty, antique, solid silver photo frame with lovely bow detail to the top and a plain polished silver border.  Clear hallmarks are visible on one side for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1917, Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and the maker's mark:  Henry Williamson Ltd.  The back is wooden. 

 

Condition:  In very good condition - some slight impressions to the frame commensurate with age and mentioned for complete accuracy. 

 

Measurements:  (not including bow):  13 cm x  9.2  cm  Weight:  117.3 grams
