Large Georgian Silver Paste Solitaire Dormeuse Earrings

Phenomenally bright and sparkly large 19th century old-cut paste drops, possibly rock crystal, with foiled backs for extra brilliance! The pastes are set into solid silver with enclosed backs, suspended on sterling silver wires.

• Condition: The earrings are in very good antique condition; the facets of the pastes are slightly abraded under magnification, as you would expect with pieces of this age, but this does not affect their brilliance.

• Fixing: Ear wires, supplied with tiny plastic keepers to pop on the ends for security.

• Era: Georgian, 19th century.

• Size: 2.2cm drop. The crystals measure approximately 1cm diameter and the earrings are around 1cm deep.

• Weight: 6.8g.
