Handsome Crocodile / Alligator Skin and Silver Plated Hip Flask C.1910

Description

A very handsome hip or liquor flask made from glass and the top clad in an attractive and tactile piece of crocodile skin in a rich cognac colour.

The removable cup is gilded on the inside and the underside stamped "H.N. Hewitt & Co / Sheffield / Made In England / EPNS" (for Electro-Plated-Nickel Silver).

The top, again made from silver plate has a bayonet fitting (twist and lift) mechanism with the lid plugged with cork to protect the precious contents.

Excellent condition, measuring 4 3/4" tall x 2 3/4" wide, a good handy size.
