Here is a handsome Edwardian brass table lamp, offered for sale with a modern lamp shade ( no charge made for the shade as I bought it just to photograph the lamp with!).

The lamp stands on a classical fluted column, with an unusual openwork quatrefoil top that houses the lamp fitting.

The lamp has been fully rewired by an antique lighting specialist, and fitted with a striking teal flex. It is offered in an unpolished condition so that the buyer may choose how to display it. It has the gentle surface wear to be expected of an item of this age, and displays beautifully.

The lamp stands 50cm tall, and 15cm across the base and takes a bayonet light bulb.
