Beautifully Engraved Hallmarked 9ct Rose Gold Cross Birm' 1903

1900 - 1920
Description

An unusual and beautifully engraved antique cross made in a gorgeous 9ct rose gold. There is a small shield shaped empty cartouche in the centre.  Nice proportions (4 cm x 2.4 cm) with a loop at the top for attachment to a chain.  The back of the cross is fully hallmarked '9 .375, Birmingham 1903'. 

 

A wonderful cross in lovely condition.  There is a tiny pink prick hole in the corner of the right side of the cross, this is mentioned for accuracy and can only been seen seen viewed through a magnifying loupe. 

 

Lovely as a gift.

 

Measurements:   Height:   4 cm     Width:  2.4 cm     Depth:  3 mm    Weight:  2.1 grams
