Edwardian Silver Travelling Ashtray with Table Clip and Cigar Rest

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine solid sterling silver Edwardian travelling ashtray with table clip and cigar rest.  This wonderful piece certainly evokes a bygone era.  Clear hallmarks are visible on both the handle and the table clip for the Birmingham Assay Office, dated 1908 along with the Lion Passant and maker's mark for the silver maker Grey & Co.

 

Condition:  In super condition. Some very light impressions on the tray commensurate with age and use and mentioned for complete accuracy.

 

Measurements:  Length:  15 cm     Width:  7.5 cm    Depth:  4.4 cm    Weight:  77 grams
