Metamorphic Edwardian Pendant

Description

The cartwheel design of this pendant is of the utmost detail.

It has been made from solve RV and then later gilded.

It has obviously been loved as it has small areas of gilding appearing to be rubbed but overall it is a very solid yet delicate looking piece of jewellery.

It has the central semi-precious stone and it is flanked by 4 split pearls.

The rear of the piece has a bar for ribbon to be threaded if it is to be worn as a choker.

Dating in design to the Edwardian period this is an affordable piece of antique jewellery.

Of sizeable dimensions the pendant is simillar size to a 50p piece, approx 3cm in diameter
