This is a delightful Antique Micro Mosaic Brooch has been hand crafted in the early 20th century circa 1930

Micro Mosaics are a special form of Mosaic that uses unusually small pieces of glass (tesserae) handmade in Italy.

The brooch boasts colourful floral Micro Mosaic tile work which have been hand set into the brooch. The tiles depict an intricate floral design and leaf pattern against a bold blue ground.

The brooch measures 3 cms by 2. 2 cms
