Rare 5.5inch Norwegian Sterling Silver Dish Dragestil Antique C1920 D Andersen

Description

A beautiful good sized Norwegian solid silver sauce dish or bowl. It is hallmarked STERLING SILVER with the makers mark being David Andersen. I would date it to c1920-1940. It has been beautifully made being in the form of a Viking boat on Celtic supports. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 5.5 inches (14cms) long by 2.5 inches (6.6cms) tall by 1.75 inches (4cms) wide and weighs 46 grams. A beautifully made rare example.
